This course is designed to build awareness and understanding of climate change and sustainability among Khazar University staff. It explores how environmental, social, and economic sustainability are relevant to our work, and how each staff member can contribute to the university’s strategic goals and global sustainability efforts.

Through short modules, real-life examples, interactive quizzes, and personal reflection activities, participants will gain practical insights and tools to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations. The course also explains Khazar University's role in sustainability rankings and the importance of collective responsibility. 

This course is developed within Creative Spark project implemented by Khazar University and Middlesex University, UK funded by the British Council. The course is designed to enrich students with tools and techniques of becoming more creative, innovative and entrepreneurial in the future professional activities. Taking into consideration that being innovative and creative brings changes, the students also will learn how to manage the change. The students will be exposed to the World of Creativity and Innovation by watching different videos, reading articles and books. This course is suitable for future designers, administrators, and others who want to explore the secrets of creative and innovative entrepreneurship.

Course objectives - “ICT in Education” course is dealing with issues of information communication technologies, such role of the ICT in the community, its implementation in teaching and learning process, as well as in higher education institutions.

Course outline - “ICT in Education” course creates the foundation about usage of ICT in education and teaching and learning process. This course provides the necessary foundation for graduate students to get the knowledges about context of the information communication technologies, technology enhanced learning, usage of ICT in education and as well as in higher education institutions, also how to use ICT for research.

"Təhsil proqramlarının (kurikulum) təşkili və qiymətləndirilməsi” fənninin tədrisinin əsas məqsədi ali məktəblərin pedoqoji fakültə və ixtisaslarında təhsil alan tələbələrdə təhsil proqramlarının (kurikulumların) hazırlanması, strukturu və komponentlə arasındakı əlaqələr haqqında əsas anlayışlarla tanış etməkdir. Fənnin əsas məqsədi eyni zamanda təhsildə qiymətləndirmə ilə əlaqədar əsas anlayışlar haqqında məlumat verməkdir.


Today’s successful leadership requires good knowledge of human behavior and being able to predict the behavior and prevent if necessary, to avoid the harm for others and for organizations. Many factors - organizational culture, organizational structure, leadership styles, power, team processes, communication are influencing organizational behavior. All leaders want to achieve organizational effectiveness through effective performance of employees. Effective leaders should have good knowledge of all these interactions so that he/she is able to influence and change the situation.  

The Leadership and Organizational Behavior course is designed to provide students with knowledge and ability to interact with others effectively and influence their actions, to motivate them to perform at their best. Students will learn the Leadership concepts, theories as well as theories and concepts of Organizational Behavior. Specifically, they will learn behavior theories, team dynamics, working in teams, strategies of decision-making, the basics of human motivation and how to apply the theories they have learned, strategies for leading employees and colleagues, and negotiation/conflict resolution.

Course outline - “Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions” course creates the foundation about higher education pedagogy. This course provides the necessary foundation for graduate students to get the knowledges about context of the teaching and learning, pedagogical technologies, lecturing at high school, and management of higher education institutions.

В рамках данного курса рассматриваются история развития компьютеров, программное и аппаратное обеспечение, устройство персонального компьютера, изучаются основы работы с операционной системой Windows 10, текстовым процессором Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office Excel 2016, а также PowerPoint 2016.
